Lynn attained her Trinity Grade 8 while studying in LASALLE’s School of Contemporary
Music, and is preparing for the ATCL in 2012. Although a performance major in Classical
Piano, she is equally interested in pop music. As a keyboardist, she has performed
at various events with different bands whose genres include Chinese/Canto Pop,
English Top 40s, J-rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Symphonic Metal. Lynn also
plays the percussion for the Kim Seng Wind Symphony. Upon graduation, Lynn hopes
to continue sharing her passion for music through performing and teaching.

During Anna Maerissa Veronika’s study in LASALLE, she joined the chamber choir
ensemble and percussion ensemble. Outside of college performance activities, Anna
is active in her church choir. She performed in a range of events and was featured
in the LASALLE President’s Talk in 2010. Anna also played piano as an accompanist
with young violinist at the 45th Singapore’s National Day Celebration 2010.

Carol Teoh is a musician from Malaysia and currently pursuing her studies in Singapore.
Prior to her current classical music studies, she was active as a church band keyboardist
and since 2003, was exposed to a wide range of music genres including pop, jazz and
improvisations. Carol has played the piano from the age of five and obtained Diploma
ABRSM in piano performance in 2010. Upon graduating, she plans to work as a piano teacher
and accompanist in Singapore. She also intends to join a music band in the near future.

Soprano Chong Choy Har has performed in several countries such as Taiwan, Austria,
Singapore, China, and in each state of Malaysia where her work has received good response.
Choy Har also took part in the World Choir Game in 2008 in Graz, Vienna, and in Shao Xing,
China in 2010. In both competitions, she was awarded silver certificates. With experience in
teaching vocals since 2005, she has taught as a choral trainer at SJK (C) Foon Yew 5, SJK (C)
Foon Yew 1, Simpang Renggam Tiong Hua High School. Currently she is teaching at Nocton MP
Music School, Cephas Music School, and Verve Music School. She is also a choir conductor
of Johor-Taiwan Students Alumni Choir, Guang Zhao Alumni Choir and Hakka Alumni Choir
in Malaysia. Choy Har is also choir member with Charis Singers and Nanda Choir Alumni.

Prior to LASALLE, Chong Zhi Hui was with Foon Yew High School Wind Orchestra in
Johor Bahru. She played the clarinet in secondary school and was also a member of the
NTU symphonic band in 2009. Zhi Hui has worked at Ossia Music School, Yamaha Music
School and Schumann Music School as a piano teacher. Zhi Hui has now joined MY Charis
Singers in Johor Bahru, singing in the alto part in the choir. Further to these musical
activities, she plans to be a band assistant in Johor Bahru and hopes to play in a famous
orchestra as a clarinetist. Zhi Hui intends to further her musical studies in the future.

As a pianist, Jasmine has worked with her secondary school choir and singers at Seri
Omega Private School from 2002 to 2005 before she entered LASALLE. In 2009, Jasmine was
awarded the Associate of the London College of Music (ALCM) from London College of Music
Examinations (LCM Examinations). After graduation, Jasmine intends to get the Licentiate
(LTCL) from Trinity College London in December 2011 and plans to teach in Singapore.

Jessie Chua majors in percussion under the tutelage of Singapore Symphony Orchestra
percussionist, Lim Meng Keh. She has been involved in a number of ensembles and LASALLE
musicals, along with the School of Contemporary Music’s Percussion Ensemble and the
LASALLE Contemporary Ensemble under Dr John Sharpley. Being an active performer, Jessie
has represented Singapore at the 40th Japan Band Clinic, the Southeast Asian Youth Wind
Ensemble, and the16th World Music Contest, with her percussion ensemble receiving the 2nd
runner-up award in the 1st Division of the Percussion Ensemble Category. Besides performing,
Jessie finds joy imparting musical knowledge and she aspires to be an educator in the future.

Oswald Tan has achieved a Grade 8 standard in Music Performance (ABRSM) outside
of school. At LASALLE, he has worked with a range of composers and performances
of their works. Oswald also enjoys improvisation. He regularly undertakes music
arrangements outside of school on a monthly basis. Upon graduation, Oswald
plans to further his studies in Europe in the field of Music Performance.

Shirley Lim has increased her love for music while studying in LASALLE. In secondary
school, she joined the symphonic band and was the concert mistress for two years.
This exposed her to many different kinds of band music. Knowing what she wants and
in order to enhance and invigorate her experience and knowledge in music, she decided
to choose an unusual path and enrolled in LASALLE. Since her acceptance in LASALLE,
she has gathered new experiences as her study progresses. Upon graduating from
LASALLE, Shirley will continue to teach passionately using her gained experience.

Winny Kusmin was born in Medan, Indonesia, and has been playing the piano
since the age of nine. During her study at LASALLE, Winny joined the Chamber
Choir Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and also Contemporary Music Ensemble
directed by Dr John Sharpley. Winny also participated in the student exchange
programme to Dartington, UK, during her Diploma year in 2009.

Wivin Liyono started to learn piano at the age of five in Era Musika, YAMAHA. She
started in the group class and after finishing the programme, she continued to
study with individual lessons. Wivin was born in Medan in the province of North
Sumatra in Indonesia. Her principal study for more than a year is under the guidance
of Jungah Yoon. Wivin was active with various concerts in her hometown.

As a composer, Yan Lam has composed for the Faculty’s joint production Beowulf (2008),
in collaboration with the dance and theatre students. Outside of the College, she is
also an active arranger of sacred vocal and ensemble pieces. Besides participating in
projects as a composer and arranger, Yan Lam has also been a piano accompanist for many
soloists and choirs, both locally and overseas, for performances and competitions. In her
studies in piano, she has been awarded the Diploma Associate by both the Associated
Board of the Royal Schools of Music and a distinction by the Trinity Guildhall.

As a composer and pianist, Louisa Zais has been collaborating with various musicians
such as Bubi Chen, Bratislava Chamber Orchestra, and Orkestra Melayu Marsiling. Her
music ranges from Classical style, Pop, Jazz, Dance, Electronics, to the Indonesian
Gamelan. In 2008, she enrolled in LASALLE to develop her skill in music composition
and in 2009 attended Dartington College of Arts in an exchange programme. For her
Bachelor’s Degree, she received a LASALLE scholarship from the college for her excellent
academic achievement. Recently, Louisa has been collaborating with filmmakers
and animators, composing music for commercials, short films, and video games.

Zhou Jieyun has written music for small and large ensemble, choir, multi-percussion,
multimedia, pop band, electronic music and soundscape designing. The Contemporary
Music Ensemble has performed her compositions in LASALLE’s lunchtime concert
series. One of Jieyun’s piano compositions was played by an accomplished performer
Dr Nicholas Ong in February of 2010 and her percussion piece At A Loss was performed
by German percussionist Max Reifer in March 2011.

Teo Jun Ming Andrew is currently a full time bass player at Dragon Fly at St James
Power Station. Apart from St James Power Station he has performed at other
local bars such as Lunar Fusion Bar and iRumours. Andrew performed with the
popular Taiwanese duo, Shen Mu Yu Tong when they presented their showcase
at Shanghai Dolly in Singapore and he has also appeared on television with his
band Prince for the Channel U show Li Wu. Upon graduation, Andrew intends to
extend his musical studies by pursuing a certificate in Dalcroze Eurhythmics.

Originally from Indonesia, Audrey Stefanie Tengkey has performed as jazz pianist at several
venues and is active in the local scene. She has played before a variety of audiences
with local bands at a variety of events, cafes and festivals. She debuted her quartet, 10K
Quartet, at Jazz Colonies 2010, held at BluJaz Café where she performed a set of her original
compositions. Audrey also undertook a successful performance at the Java Jazz Festival in
Indonesia with her other band, Wet Floor, in the same year. Audrey has also performed at the
Esplanade Waterfront with pop-rock and fusion band, the Cheese Monkeys in January 2011.

After working for a few years in the corporate world, it was Hui Mei’s strong passion and
love for music that brought her back to student life. Besides being an active keyboardist
in her church, she was also the musician in two Chinese community theatre productions
by TheVoice - Match in the Ring and Father.Son.Family. Hui Mei has improvised and
created music/sound effects to enhance a range of productions. She is also involved
with her mentor, Chan Chong Han’s family concerts, and she undertakes various roles
like emcee, stage manager and performer. Upon graduation, Hui Mei hopes to continue to
use the power of music to add value to the lives of her students and the community.

Starting her musical journey at the age of four, Charlene started on piano then moved on
to the guitar and bass. She played alto saxophone in her secondary school band and was
section leader in her third year. Under Justin Hegburg and Brian O’Reilly, she has developed
skills in both the technical and performance aspects and has performed in various school
productions as a audio/visual artist, notably in Eurydice, the SoCM Lunchtime Concert
Series, and Infinity. As a visual artist, Charlene performed for productions like the Kings of
Freedom Concert and Vaunt and also performed at C.H.O.P.P.A. in 2010 with fellow student,
Eugene Yip, as a sound artist. She is a key member of the Brazilian percussion group, Bloco
Singapura, performing on international platforms, notably the inaugural Youth Olympic Games
and Dili Carnival in Timor-Leste. Charlene freelances as a live sound engineer at 15 Minutes
Café and with a video archival company monitoring live sound feed during performances.

Jasmine previously graduated in Diploma in Music and Audio Technology in Singapore
Polytechnic in 2007, before joining LASALLE in 2009 to further her studies. In
Singapore Polytechnic, she was in an electronic band with one of her lecturers,
Michael Spicer and also performed and recorded many of her own and classmates’
songs as a vocalist to gain experience in music marketing and events managing. She
has also worked in Warner Music Singapore for almost a year in 2008. In LASALLE,
Jasmine was an electronic musician and visual artist alongside her course mates.

Beryl was born in Shanghai, China and started playing Yang Qin, a Chinese traditional musical
instrument when she was four, and drums when she was in high school. In 2007, she came
to Singapore and joined LASALLE to accomplish a BA(Hons) Music (Music Technology).
When studying in LASALLE, she participated in various school-based productions, such
as theatre production Eurydice, SoCM Lunchtime Concert Series, and collaborations
within The Puttnam School of Film, LASALLE. Beryl has also taught as a guest lecturer
during her holidays in Shanghai. Currently, Beryl is mainly undertaking sound design and
video jockey. She plans to go back to Shanghai to work as an audio and visual artist.
Originating from a strong classical background, Angelina Gladiola Susanto has
now embraced jazz and popular music where she has found her passion to play and
write her own songs. Angelina has performed for the Indonesian Music Festival in
March 2009 as the principal pianist and keyboardist; with Kreutzer Wind Ensemble
at Flute Festival at YST conservatory in September 2010; with her pop-rock band,
the Apoquelips under the Ayaschool: Destroy!!! series in December 2010. After
graduating from college, the experience-seeker intends to pursue a career as a
musician: composing, arranging and performing a wide variety of musical genre.

Luke is no stranger to the Singapore music scene and has an impressive line up of
artists/bands that he has collaborated and performed with since the age of 17. During
his years of study at LASALLE, he has performed in public with T3G’s (Those 3 Guys
band), The Jackson Twinz All Star Band, Tony Thompson (ex Earth Wind & Fire), Ayesha,
The Awesome Foursome and The Apoquelips, to name a few. Before joining LASALLE,
Luke was studying in the Australian International School in Singapore, performing
in ensemble and school productions, where his passion for music really began.
Luke’s immediate plans include performing original material with his own band, and
recording an album. Other plans are to travel internationally and perform with other
artists, and to one day open up a music school for children chasing their dreams.

Eugenia has performed on international platforms, like Java Jazz Festival 2010, one of
the world’s largest and highly acclaimed music festivals. As a singer-songwriter, Eugenia
has performed at YouthFest! 2010 at the Esplanade, Ayaschool: Destroy!!! series with
pop-rock band, the Apoquelips in December 2010, and most recently at the Mosaic Music
Festival 2011. An avid learner after graduation, Eugenia intends to travel extensively
and to experience the vast amount of influences that the universe has to offer.

As a guitarist, Stephen has recorded and released an instrumental rock EP in December
2009 with fusion rock trio, Fibelis. He has performed at the Java Jazz Festival in
2010 and with the pop/rock band Apoquelips under the Ayaschool: Destroy!!! series.
Stephen intends to pursue a career as a performer and as pop/rock guitarist.
